Shortfuses are a weird form of plant that is birthed with gunpowder. The shorter the stem, the more dangerous they are. The reason behind explosions is that the seeds are stored in the Gunpowder hold and are spread when they explode. Some are painted and put in shells to train them to be weapons of mass destruction. The Creepy Shortfuse is what most look like underneath their shells.
