Serpent's bane

Description: This sword originally appears as just the hilt, with the eye on the pommel closed. If the sword awakens, however, the blade emerges, made entirely of fire. Once that happens, the blade attempts to possess its weilder, transforming them over the course of a few weeks into a large, fire-breathing dragon. Once this process is complete, the sword can be found in the dragon's hoard. Many dragons have been slain in the pursuit of this legendary weapon, hence its name.
