We could have listen to the whistle-blowers in China that were reporting these things happening inside their country, but no, we didn`t, and China covered those people up so that the leaders wouldn`t loose power, and the thing about the masks, they only work one way, it`s to "Protect the others around us". Dammit! So if the masks are to protect others, what about ourselves? The military has these complex filtration masks that can filter any kind of air pollution, but now everyone says that these pieces of cloth can protect everyone. It is complete and utter bullshit!
