Fun Fact(s): Members of the Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth) were assigned to man flak guns in an attempt to free up manpower for the Wehrmacht. These Hitler Youth would become known as "Flakhelfer", or Flak Helpers. They flak guns they used were 80mm Anti-Aircraft guns. During engagements in which deadly shrapnel was fired at them, they would occasionally joke about how shrapnel was "so sharp that if it hit you in the head, it came out your toe."
