What i usually do to make happy thoughts is to daydream of things that i like doing... (E.G: gaming, eating, playing) So, i imagine it and be happy. Or, make an imaginary friend to talk to when you're lonely, so he/she acts as a talking buddy. Use them for whatever makes you happy, and give them a different voice for Placebo effect. but, if those don't work, maybe draw, or read, or talk to me!
