How did it go from Shellshock in WWI to Battle fatigue in WWII to Operational exhaustion in Korea to Post-traumatic stress disorder in Vietnam and onwards? I bet if we just kept it as "shellshock" from the start, a lot of those war veterans suffering from PTSD would have got help sooner.
