My conclusion of Winston Churchill not as a politician but a HISTORIAN: He was great. Churchill fought against the Nazis in World War II, created a national healthcare service that mandated healthcare for all, expressed sympathy for Jews, improved relations between the United States and England, and oversaw the independence of countries in the British Empire. At the same time however, he was a horrible racist, was against African independence, fought against Dr. Mahatma Gandhi, and prioritised the stockpiling of food for Britain over feeding Indian subjects during the Bengal famine of 1943. Overall, he was an okay guy, 8 out of 10.
