I'll be honest with you. I don't think the groomsmen and bridesmaids serve any real purpose in the ceremony. Sure, they're there to support the bride and groom, but mostly they just come out in front of the bride and then stand next to the couple on the altar. So I think it's okay if you don't have them at all.
