there are theories on either little nightmares 2 is a sequel or a prequel. personally, i can see it going either way, the raincoat is something that can set people off. the way i see the timeline is that Very Little Nightmares is the first, the animated comics kind of second, along with little nightmares 2, next being the first game, little nightmares itself. The other comics that deals with the other children can also be in between the first and the second game.
