b-25 bomber (uss hornet version)

Description: these b-25s were involved in the Doolittle raid where modified b-25s launched off the USS Hornet in secrecy with their destination being Tokyo. Doolittle and his crew bombed Tokyo and most of them managed to ditch and escape successfully with one landing in Soviet territory. They held a reunion every year until the last one died in 2019.
