the wanderer

Description: this piece is about a young girl who decided to venture from home, to leave behind all of her worries and troubles. in doing so she became a lonely soul, drifting from place to place, a wanderer, never to be seen in the same place twice. she thought that she would be alone forever until she walked up to a gate of a mansion. the rusty gate from the constant snow and water erosion creaked open slowly without her touching it. silently she walked into the yard, not unsettled, nor cold. she felt something different, it was the warmth of a home.
