The reason that undertale got popular was because of its mechanics, and if you say sans, your wrong. everyone in their right mind first did the pacifist route because it existed. showing mercy to those that you fight became more common thats to that game. before sans got popular for their fight, they were a small meme in the game. sadly i feel like when people look at undertale all they think is "Funny skeleton" and move on when they should realise that this game inspired a new way to actually respect RPG game Monsters.
