What tiny decisions had major consequences? Take, for instance, Gavrilo Princip choosing to eat a sandwich. For those of you who do not know, Princip was the man who assassinated the Archduke of Austria-Hungary, Franz Ferdinand, in 1914, likely causing the First World War. Shortly prior to the assassination, Princip chose to get a sandwich. Had he not taken the time to eat the sandwich, it is estimated that he would have missed the Archduke by about 2 minutes, thus resulting in the assassination never occurring. So simply had he not got a sandwich, two World Wars, the Holocaust, and (possibly) the Cold War wouldn't have happened.
