The Ark (Flood Charging)

Description: This is for Chronicle, a work in progress video game that starts on another planet, Neo Earth. There is a massive ship, called The Ark, orbiting around Neo Earth. It seems like a simple shelter for humanity, until it's massive laser, the Flood, starts charging. It will take weeks for the Flood to fully charge, but when it does, the beam can make an explosion that holds the force of a small planetary collision.
