Suddenly, she got a vision. It was of Takahiro. He looked very much alive, yet he had a large slit in his throat. The vision lasted for only a few seconds, but, after it was over, she was right next to Takahiro. He stood upright, in front of her, looking down at Reimis body... Reimi looked closer to see what her dog was looking at, but it was her own body. It occurred to her that she was no longer Reimi, but only her in spirit. Her body felt off and tacky, but it was able to move very freely. She discovered that her spirit had become one in the sand, making her a self-proclaimed sand elemental. Rising up, she pet her dog, taking the form of a woman made of sand. All she could remember was the past hour, but that did not phase her. She left the house with Takahiro that next morning, setting out on her new life, her new journey. A journey to exist and live again, a life to retry once more. And, thus, Rare was born.
