Undertale is one of the biggest and most popular games ever and Toby Fox was surprised by the popularity of the game. Though even though Undertale was one of the best games its fandom was one of the worst fandom's ever. Also Undertale holds a record somewhere when they give Undertale a record of the most fangames and Alternate Universes. PAM is used a lot for making Sans' but if you really want to have a good AU you want a good character... if you just make a super OP mary sue sans then your game won't get played and your AU will get made fun of.. but if you have a game like Dusttrust and Last breath then your game and community will be good.
