9bdd95 The ability to carry Little Boy (codename of the atom bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima) is not unique to the B-29. Little Boy was a mere 3 metres long, which, the B-17, being 22 metres long, could easily store and have room left to spare.

9bdd95 I could disagree with that for a few reasons. The B-29 had a longer bomb delay than the B-17. The B-29 was much heavier. The B-17 generally had more guns.
