06e648 MV requires you to do everything for them which... is kinda bullshit. I can understand having specific things be tailored for us to figure out, such as a different battle system, but fucking Hell we need plugins to remove the awful-ass anti-aliasing. Something that MZ, I'm pretty sure, gives you the option to remove. Plus, MV is locked at 48x48 pixels per tile, which is a bit too much for my tastes. MZ allows for 32x32, 24x24, and 16x16 pixels per tile which is insane.
