c9c00b And I have an economics class, so you'd think that'd be useful, right? Only slightly. I can't understand half of what my teacher is saying, I basically have to piece things together myself, and when we finally got to taxes I was all excited like "Yes! This is what they need to teach us!" But no. We're learning WHY we pay taxes instead of HOW TO pay them.

c9c00b Language Arts is the only class I agree with. And even then, it's still hard to be happy with it because a lot of it is analyzing works of literature. Blech.

ae61c8 List of subjects in school I like. (highest to lowest) Math because A: math is needed B: my math teacher is fun. Science becaus the teacher doesn't care whats on your computer. Band because I love sax. Gym because I just hang out with my friends and don't do crap. And thats all. Everything else sucks

506291 pretty much all my classes are boring. the only one i'm actually fine with is gym. and it's easy to tell why.

6877d4 Science and History are really dumb. Like, why the hell do we need to know about magma and lava when THEY ARE THE SAME!? History... It's in the past and already happened... Useless. Math is not useless... It is used for jobs like cashiering or computer making. Language arts is useful because some of us don't know how to correctly write/type.

c9c00b Also, I've heard that prisons in the Netherlands run basically the same way as American schools do. So if that isn't a good comparison, I'm not sure what is.

c9c00b Ya'll. Junior in high school here. My chemistry class... we've had a little bit of fun with labs (I've still gotta tell you guys about the "liquid fear.") But I can't understand half the content in this second half of the year, and a lot of the class itself has been boring notes.

63ceb7 Must I say why Xavier?... Also I looked up how similar school is to prison and got this as a bit of a response... "Q: Is school similar to prison? | A: School is somewhat similar to prison. However, in school you learn, and in prisons, you don't really do much. School is a bit useless, but if you can't go in with a positive attitude, go in with a negative attitude."

6877d4 Your not wrong. It is literally a prison, with terrible food (Seriously, the tacos at my school taste like cardboard. I AM SERIOUS), Science gets more boring every grade (Like, back in 6th grade, we did fun stuff in science, like create oobleck, but now in 7th grade, we do write, read, write, thats it), and the teachers get SUPER strict
