Having no parents, Lux took over and Noctiss mother figure, taking care of her younger sister. Later, they were found and captured by the same group of people that killed Lucy. Their appearance changed to what it is now when they were subjected to magic experimentation. The scientists in the group decided to torture them until they couldnt take it anymore. Lux broke that day, and they havent been the same since...
