Now, with making a normal map, it's kind of complicated there. If you don't know what a normal map is, it's basically a texture that tells the shader of the program where light will shine within that texture. It's typically used in 3D models to add more depth to it without actually modelling the mesh and adding more polygons to it, which helps with optimization, but it can also be used in 2D games. However, it's a bit time consuming to make a normal map. Aseprite has a built-in normal map wheel which helps, but it's still pretty complicated to figure out if you don't know what you're doing...
