Since this is probably what Mr.blunt would do I'll be honest. You're right, I cant fathom the situation because the whole situation itself sounds as stupid to me as I am to you. Honestly I cant stop thinking its bs even though I know its probably isn't, but for someone that's soooo blunt you sure like beating around the bush, I personally don't think even if you'd answer it'd be satisfactory anyways so really I was just wasting my time
