What you can also do to help is recognize that you are pulling the wrong ideas out of what I am saying here and that it's negatively affecting you and you shouldn't do that. Ever. Acknowledge that there exists the negative, but there also exists the positive. I want that to be something you take away from this. That you aren't a terrible person or a terrible friend, on the contrary actually, you're a good friend and a good person. All I want is just something as simple as just being shown that what I say isn't just always jokes or dumb little things to say.
