My theological perspective stems from the fact that I approach Islamic rhetoric and writing from the perspective of pure research. Looking at social laws in Islam, what people should do and shouldn't do, how does prayer benefit us psychologically as a society, why chastisity from any and all sins is mentally beneficial. The Quran is not a book of science, it doesn't contain proofs and evidence. It contains instructions on how to live, and if you look at those instructions, they make the most sense out of any instructions I've ever seen. If I did not believe in a God, but wanted to be as pure and moral of a person as possible, and wanted society to be as moral as possible, the framework I chose would be awfully similar to that of Islam..
