I find it ridiculous how much people get stuck on the past. Like, yeah, maybe someone fucked up long ago, but if they improve at all then you should try to forget about that fuckup and give them another chance. Our choices in the past may help shape who we are today, but that applies to both good and bad. We're not defined by all the bad things in our past. And many people forget about parts of their past anyway so what does it matter? That's just my thoughts on it, though, I can't change anyone else's.
