There is little comfort in my faith, i've yet to reach the serene level that sufi mystics and other Islamic giants seem to hold. I fear my purpose, my fate, and my doings. But, a self shedding and rejection of perfect nature is necessary, since understanding that you are not logical or rational in anyway shape or form allows for you to understand just how insignificant you can be in certain viewpoints. I think ego death is necessary at a certain point to become a true believer. But that's a bit far now, getting ahead of myself.
