It depends on the Pokemon actually Lily, though if I recall correctly actually-- the Mega Stone is done via the connection the Pokemon and Trainer has with each other, so in terms of that, it's usually done more willing on both the Trainer and Pokemon's part (Though yeah, there can still be abuse brought into this and forms of torture--)
