Yee. Keep in mind if someones adversed towards you being forward, e.g. “i like you alot and think you’re a very interesting person. What do you think about spending some more time together? You want to hang out sometime monday?” Thats a huge red flag. Why be completely against commitment? Both for being scared of it and for keeping options, either way is a giant “dont spend effort on me” sign.
