Keeping things surface level is one of the weirdest parts of modern dating culture that i’ve encountered. In my opinion it makes more sense to become friends, get to know each other more, bond, form a deep connection, then be able to start dating due to that deep bond and connection yall formed. Whats the point of giving hints and running wild goose chases and being shady with love. You either want someone or you don’t, ts ain’t battleship cuh. Seems like a way for people to keep options in hand. Hmm, this one ain’t working, lemme pay more attention to some others and see which one gives me the type of attention i want, I’ll go with that.
