im not a perspective whiz but typically if ur pushing perspective (in this case the hands similar to yours) you bring that out a lot more and force everything else further back. "foreshortening" would js be exaggerating everything else to be smaller (gradually to a vanishing point) so you create the illusion of depth blah blah blah
