Well let’s get into the nitty gritty of it. Why is substance abuse bad, because it exploits the addictive pathways of the brain and causes irrational and self harming behavior such as ones entire life revolving around the substance, relationships deteriorating due to swayed mindset, and so on. Like it or not the same thing applies to weed, social media usage, sex, and so on. So, if all of these things are harmful, they belong on the spectra of things that should be avoided/regulated.
