The thing about this sonic's lore, is that this is a sonic, yes. but he can feel. how you play, how he dies, how you C O N T R O L him. he feels it all. On the game, he may smile, but during it all, he thinks as he goes insane on what to do. but it is a loop. he ends up offing himself multiple times, but it wont end. he has accepted it. and decided to play along and along.
