The reason why faith is so difficult for most people is because you literally cannot prove it. There is no way for you to 100 percent know that faith in God is right. Try to imagine if faith was 100 percent provable. If every "Oh God, if you exist, give me a sign" was answered. Then wheres the free will? Everyone knows God exists so they just go ahead and do whatever he wants. The exact beauty of pure belief stems from the fact that you dont KNOW for sure, you CANT know for sure, but, you look at the world, you look at its beauty, you look at its ugliness, you look at its complexity, you look at your own complexity, and, you choose to believe anyways. The term "leap of faith" stems from that literal fact. It's a leap. Nothing calculated or deterministic about it. Just like a trust fall between friends, you are putting yourself in the most vulnerable position a human can take: voluntary uncertainty. And thats the truest testimate you can give to anything, in this case God.
