They just, don't. Icefish are extremely innactive. They sit on the ocean floor waiting for food to drift by, and because of the cold water and currents, the water they sit in is very oxygenated compared to water in warmer, less busy climates. So the oxygen just sorta, diffuses into them and thats it. They're like a living sponge, if sponges wheren't allready an animal.
