So then I ask if a poly relationship is by definition of its structure and context a life style that is more than often a corrosive and dangerous one, more than often to the point that a functional, not perfect, just functional, poly relationship is considered a rarity, then what difference does it have to actions such as substance abuse/use? Both are actions that MORE than often lead to harm on the individual and those around them, so why do we persecute one so much more than the other?
