The Federation of Santa Monica is a collection of Off-planet colonies from the former Spanish Empire, and had gained its independence during the 1st Copernican Wars. The regions that comprise the Federation were amongst the poorest in the former Empire and were much inspired by the French Revolts in their own revolution, only having the opportunity to liberate themself because of the Russian aggression on Copernica Prime. The Sovereign State of Valencia initially used this banner during its war of independence but later adopted a new name and flag.
