The thing is: People are extremely unlikely to have enough imagination to ever will anything into existence on their own. Instead, the world changes due to collective beliefs, or collective imaginations of numerous people. Whilst they may be strong sources, the strongest sources of imaginations is the collection of a strong belief that is consistent across every person, which is similar to religious people.
