It's not that you can only use harmless ones, it's just how you use it. Don't be violent. There's plenty you can do with an ability, like Telekinesis, that can just be used to lift stuff. I personally know how webs can be used in a harmless sense despite me often using it to attack. Leaf and just be used to hide or hide stuff, sword can also be used to cut things like ropes n such down, plasma can be used to just give energy to stuff, whip can be used to grab stuff and just be used as a regular ol' whip.
