Description: Scene 7 part 1 [ The old man enters with a page in hand. ] Max : Hey, what happened? O.M : Oh, I just went to the basement and miraculously found a paper that's important to the plot. But alas.. My eyes are too old to read this page. Max : [ reaches for the page ] Amber : [ grabs the page. ] I think I’ll read this out. Everyone sits done as the old man sits in the seat, Tatum is now in the center reading out the page. Scene 7 part 2 Amber : … [ reads off Old page ] Sum about how the old amne created them and put them in the bad homes on purpose to break them. Telling about the back up plan being, if all else fails, to erase their memories. [ everyone slowly looks towards the Old Man. ] Oliver : ..what..? Max : all that hurt.. Randy : my memories.. Amber : It wasn't my fault..? Tatum : YOU. Akira : YOU BASTARD. Max : [ gets between them and the old man ] wait. Tatum : Max, get out of the way. Max : he can't remember anything either. [ pause. ] Akira : He could be faking it. Max : Old man. Read this and explain. O.M : [ reads to himself ] Hmm, I’ve conveniently remembered what happen.. Oliver : Well? O.M : I remember making something.. And… making something.. Something went wrong. And uh.. An.. explosion! But that's all I remember. Max : So he is not the same man. Akira : I don't care! I’ve never trusted him and I won't now! Randy : AKira has a point. I don't remember much but I remember never trusting him. Tatum : We should leave. Oliver : No. We need to stay. Amber : I agree with Oliver, we have no where to go. Tatum : We can go LITERALLY anywhere else. Max : And where will we fit in? He CREATED us. Yes. I don't agree with what he has done before but we are ALL in this together. He lost his memory too. He took us in. HE is the only person that wanted us in the end. Oliver : He was the only one who didn't abandon me. Amber : He didn't judge me when he heard my story. Tatum : Oh please, he gave you food and now you owe him your life? Randy : He put me in that house. He knew I’d get hurt. And he tries to take my memories again? Akira : He already took them. Amber : and he suffered the worst of it. You said there was an explosion, right? O.M : ..yes. Max : If we only lost the memories from after meeting him in the explosion, then how much did he lose being right next to it? Oliver : Max is right. He’d probably die without us. Randy : Good. He deserves it- Amber : We would have died without him. Max : We were made by him. O.M : now we’re all full circle- Everyone : SHHh Amber : We aren't going anywhere with this. Akira : yeah cause you guys are stubbern. Oliver : Wait, What if we take a vote? [ pause ] Tatum : Okay..
