Okay what I did is at best a decent solution, but it's not a permanent. I'll have to ask mom to see what the problem could be. Luckily it isn't like the same problem that was coming up on my other computer where I can only use certain keys because the rest stopped working altogether. It might just be some stupid setting or something dumb like that on this computer
