and as i was doing that and just about geting ready to start up the speedboat for once, all of my items just dropped under me. i thought that was strange and then realized this is what happens when you die. so i died. to fucking Nothing. and then i realized "hey wait why are all of them still in my inventory" and looked at my ping. and that's when it hit me: i fucking crashed, but not in the way where the game freezes; it happened in the way where the ping remains permanently stagnant until you leave.
