However they would sneak pass Asgore and went though the barrier. It has been ages since the last human fell into the underground. Papyrus would died. But Sans is unable to die normally. Instead his body rapidly decays and come back, leaving him in a weak state while also turning to dust and coming back almost instant. He went into hiding after the queen died so then the other monsters wouldn't get suspicious of Sans's power. After the loss of Papyrus, Sans tended to get drunk a lot at Grillby's but Alphys with her cameras around the place would help him by herself or have Mettaton help him get home intact due to him having some form of depression due to the loss of so many friends and his brother.
