I figured Mindwave would be like mega op if i didnt add a bunch of BUTs and HOWEVERs to his powerset

Description: Mindwave (working name) is a in development character for my also in development comic that may or may not actually get made His primary ability is messing with your mind believe it or not, but it's a little more interesting than that- See, Mindwave can actually access a much wider array of abilities using his basic kit- i like to separate these powers into two groups: Basic, And Greater... His Basic lineup is mind tricking stuff- -He can read your mind, allowing him to predict and react to your moves before you make them. -He can manipulate your emotions, which could like make you really sad or something maybe it'll make you so depressed you #killyourself before you can fight him idk anyway -He can also manipulate your senses which can be devastating because he could land a thousand hits on you and you wouldn't notice as your sense of touch is gone. this also means he can blind you or deafen you- to balance this out i wanna make it clear this all doesn't last long as it is very taxing on Mindwave. -Last, but not least of this bunch is his ability to manipulate your perception of reality- basically tricking you in to seeing things or people that aren't there. For example, maybe you're a desperate loser pulling no hoes because you're obese and chopped; Mindwave could trick your perception and make YOU think you're sad little life was actually really awesome!!! or better yet, he could make you think you had a 10/10 hottie who's eternally loyal... to everyone else you'd look schizophrenic, but it's real to you, and that's a big part of how Mindwave wins (in short). His greater array is where his powers get interesting. These branch from the basic lineup and rely on them to function, hence why i consider them to be a part of this greater array. -He can effect minds as we've established but what we haven't is that the simpler the mind is, the easier it is to effect; this essentially means taking command of animals is a decently easy task for him. He could only control a few humans at best because of how advanced we are but other animals could be effected en masse. He could turn your dog on you, get a flock of birds to shit on you, get a wasp army to chase you like crazy amongst many things. He can effect alien life forms too, they follow the same rules earth ones do (smarter=harder to control) Luckily for you though, the creature he "controls" isn't really under his direct control AND they have to be close enough to him to effect. -His brain fuckery is very VERY tough to fight against because the brain controls the body. using this he can trigger involuntary movement, from small jolts to full on seizures to even heart attacks! Again, he can not directly control movement but he CAN mess it up; like an emp for the brain, shutting down or overloading certain functions. luckily for you, Mindwave will never use this ability to it's higher potential (causing deadly seizures, heart attacks, strokes or other stuff) because he thinks of it being far too extreme for (mostly) anyone to deserve and the view people who are deemed deserving (like Victor or Bug Man) have inner modification that prevents this attack from being effective. -Mindwave's brain reading allows him to steal info from friends or foes- this essentially allows him to copy any super power that can be learned (Example: say his opponent learned how to fire beams from his hand goku style- Mindwave could copy this and do it himself. the most notable character who's powers he can steal is called "Dragonboy"... he's the strongest hero of the main bunch!) He canNOT copy natural power or powers people were edited to have (Example: Candlehead was edited to be able catch fire, so he couldn't copy her power- there's a character of mine currently unnamed who was born with the ability to clone himself; since he was born with it, Mindwave could not copy it.) -He has the power to make you crazy! we talked about schizophrenia earlier but this is like actual insanity. He can afflict you with any mental illness that you can gain... like schizophrenia. He also doesnt use this one due to it's long term effects.
