the encoder simply gets the ASCII value of a character, for instance A has the ASCII value of 65, then puts it in the place of the red value of a pixel, (65, 0, 0), then draws that pixel, then continues. I could optimize it three fold by placing three letters into one pixel, but when I created it a couple months back I felt just red was sufficient.
