Description: Scene 1 part 1 The show starts, the kids start talking over each other like toddlers. Tatum : Why are we even here? It’s so old and gross- Max : Come back! You'll step on a nail. Randy : Max just told us why! it’s .. uh.. Max what was this for again? Akira : Max! Tatum is wondering off! Tatum : Nuh uh! Akira’s lying! Max : Stop Arguing. Amber : I’m hungry.. Tatum : your always hungry- Randy : When did we last eat..? WHAT did we last eat? Oliver : Hey guys? Maybe we shouldn't be so loud- Max : [ Everyone goes quiet ] SHHHHh! everyone! I found the switch. Light on stage turns on, Max enters from the cat walk. Looks around and takes in the environment. Max : okay, it looks to be an office- [ Tatum pushes past Max and enters the scene ] Wha- Tatum! Tatum : What? It’s not like the floor will give in.. I hope.. Oliver : Does this mean it’s safe..? [ Akira and Wally push past Oliver. Interrupting him in the process. ] Akira : Max, just because you're older, doesn't mean you're wiser, stop being a jerk. [ Randy nods ] Randy : Yeah. There's only a one year gap- we aren't below you. Max : [ looking defeated, doesn't care anymore and helps the old man on stage. ] Amber : [ off scene ] Guys! Come here! I found some old clothes! Tatum : Ooo! [ leaves stage ] Akira : Well.. I guess that's better then being here with him- [ leaves stage. ] Randy : [ stands there looking at the ground trying to remember something. ] Max : Randy, You alright? Randy : [ Looks up startled. ] Yeah.. I’m just thinking. [ Leaves scene ] Max : …Now, does this room trigger anything? O.M : [ in a thinking tone ] yes.. Yes, this room.. Max : What? Do you remember something? O.M : this room.. It’s.. very dirty. And old. And there's a lot of paper everywhere. Max : Sigh, how will we find out anything if you cant tell us. [ he looks down at all the papers and grabs the one under her foot. ] O.M : [ takes a seat ] Max : Wait.. They have writing on them.. And this one is about Oliver! O.M : Oh, well maybe I should go get the lass.. [gets up and walks off stage.] Max : [ now alone, begins to read out the diary log ]
