one of the coolest things about glop is hyperion metabolis, which is the process in which hyperions will consume normal matter and energy to produce more hyperions. It's sort of like how trying to split a quark pair just causes the energy you need to split the quark pair to generate two more quarks. This is how glop slowly grows and spreads.
