Even if humans had wings, people are stupid, and will invent things that start off as purely QoL before spiralling into something MUCH worse. Imagine people with Jet Modifiers for their wings soaring around the skies for tournaments and super fast travel. Stuff LIKE cars and trains would still get invented purely because its an upgrade to what we already have. However, on the bright side, we could pour like seven times more effort into space travel than we are right now, since even if jet implants existed there wouldnt be much a need for Cars or Trains or things like that
