trans people aren't mostly on "discord" they exist everywhere, discord has a large lgbtq population because its easier to have safe spaces online than in person, so alot more people who rely on each other for support congregate online. obviously theres problems like grooming and other stuff, but that happens literally in EVERY unregulated space, online or not. so called "MAPS" and other pedophiles trying to associate themselves with lgbtq people ruin and are still ruining the image of literally normal people to this day, since ignorant people will just take it as fact. it's the exact same as old people watching a single CNN news broadcast about how halal meat is blessed through black magic or something and hate muslims for the rest of their lives because they don't want to dig themselves out of the pit of misinformation that helps support their own worldview.
