Description: Scene 3 part 1 Javis’s scene Oliver : When I first met her she’d just been thrown out of a bakery. [ Lights turn on in the cozy corner and we see the bakery owner throwing out Amber. ] Oliver : he shouted “And stay out!” calling her sticky palmed before going back into the store. She sat there with her knees to her chest and her stomach growling. I approached her with food and we talked on the curb. She told me she was hungry and tried stealing food, that her parents had died and she was all alone in the world, So I convinced her to come with me to my home, where there were others just like her. ( page idea ) [ the memory ends with the old man taking Amber by the hand and guiding her away from the light before it shuts off. ] Scene 3 part 2 Oliver : I hadn’t known her parents had died. Poor girl. [ Amber walks in wearing a different outfit the before, Akira flanked her in a new outfit as well. ] Amber : Hey Oliver, Max said to come over here. Said it’s something important. Oliver : Yea, Nice outfit. [ Oliver hands Amber the page. ] Where's Max? Akira : He's off finding the others. Probably looking for that old man too, eugh. [ she looks over to amber ] So, what does it say? Amber : It's one of my memories. One that I forgot, but- something's off. Akira : Well, dont gate keep- spill it sister. Amber : The Old man from my memories was far different from how he is now. He was more lucid- and not the crazed bat he is now. Akira : hmm- I dont buy it, when I remember something, I’ll tell you how far off you really were. I mean, he’s always been crazy. And I've never liked him. Oliver : There's one for Randy here too. Akira : Oh good, let me see that. [ she take the paper from Oliver's hand, Oliver is about to say something before deciding not too. ] eugh- words. well this better be a juicy read. Amber : Im going to go find max and the others… [ leaves stage ] [ off stage] maybe just ONE more outfit. Akira : hmm- dont you have somewhere to be? Oliver : Well, can't I know the memory too? Akira : sigh If you insist.
