You have a habit of trying to word yourself to look like youre above the conversation but that doesn't really apply here when you have no grounds for it, I'm not someone who isn't able to understand complex situations but even if you werent trying to hurt him which is very unlikely givent he situation you should have at least had the decency to think about how you werent in a state to have a healthy relationship and to not hurt this person I care for I will avoid it
